About us
Rakvere KUNGLA Kindergarten was opened in 1978, so we have very long experience in raising and teaching preschool children.
There are 13 groups in our kindergarten, 7 of which use the project learning method in teaching children, where the entire learning process is structured based on the childrens interests.
Kungla Kindergarten has a large apple orchard with an outdoor learning pavillion, a traffic area where children can ride a bicycle, a sledding hill, and much more to make childrens days in the kindergarten exciting and educational.
We are a value - based kindergarten, and all our activities and curriculum are based on our values, which are: cooperation, care, courage and flexibility. In our kindergarten , the formation of a healt-conscious and environment-appreciating life attitude plays an important role. We have been part of the network of healt-promoting kindergartens since 2001, and since 2019, Kungla kindergarten has been awarded the Green Flag. It means that we are a kindergarten offering environmental education.
Our mission is: To support the safe growth of children into themselves – into creative, open and responsible peole.
Our vision: Kungla kindergarten is a safe, innovative kindergarten that values health and the environment, where high-quality preschool education related to Estonian cultural history is ensured through playful learning.
Our experienced, professional teachers and their supporting support Network, speech therapists and a special pedagogue for teaching Estonian to foreign-speaking children help to achieve all of this.
